PEDIATRIC  THERAPISTS:  Physical and Speech Therapists

The Therapy Place is seeking energetic, caring, top-notch pediatric therapists (both Physical and Speech)  to join our team!  We are a pediatric therapy clinic that includes innovative methods, a preschool and family support services.  Through collaboration and teamwork, we help each child reach his or her full potential.  Benefits are scaled based on full or near full-time employees and include continuing education allowance, paid holidays and time off, medical, dental vision and short/long term disability, life insurance and access to a retirement plan (403b).  Please send your resume and cover letter, including why you chose the pediatric therapy profession, to info@thetherapyplace.org.  We look forward to talking to you soon!

The Therapy Place is always eager to talk to pediatric therapists seeking a family-friendly therapy clinic like ours.  Full time or part time, salaried or PRN, physical, occupational or speech.   We’d love to hear from you!

INTERNS/VOLUNTEERS:

Students/Observers: If you are a graduate or undergraduate student interested in observation and/or intern hours please visit request to volunteer page.  We are scheduling interns and shadows for 1-2 semesters ahead.  Priority is given to students requiring hours for graduation, then those observing for career decision-making.  Volunteers must be 18+ years of age to volunteer during clinic hours.  We do not compensate our interns but instead provide a professional experience following one of our therapists treating a wide variety of children.

We welcome corporate, scouting and other volunteer groups to contact us at info@thetherapyplace.org or (803)787-3033 to learn about opportunities we have around the facility —  gathering wish list items, grounds maintenance, scouting project, etc.

Volunteers are accepted 16+ for after-hour childcare/family group outings where other staff is present to assist.  For those opportunities, please contact Family Services Coordinator, Joye Lee at jlee@thetherapyplace.org.
