The Therapy Place - Conductive Education Program Flyer
Columbia's very first innovative therapy program:
Summer 2009 - The Graduates:

From L to Right Top row: James Darby, Peter Bartos, Dawn Darby with son Cooper, Erika Bartos, Joyce Goodwin with daughter Jessica,
Clara with dad Chris Davis, Dr. David Swinton with granddaughter Adia, Susan Abell with son Cameron,
Duncan Winburn (parents purposefully absent), Tana and Rod Shuler with son Carson. Seated: Nyla Pope-Rogers in her dad's lap.
Chris, father to Clara seen above, had the following to say about the program:
“Clara’s strength and agility has grown amazingly. In addition, the Conductor has given us invaluable training and advice on ways to work with Clara on everything from eating to walking. It is very difficult to find programs of this nature in South Carolina, let alone Columbia, catering to children with special needs….”
The Therapy Place Conductive Education session was featured in The Columbia Star newspaper, WLTX-TV and WIS-TV
evening news programs. |
